1 In-Game Points Process

The 7th Festival Event - [Call of the Abyss Ⅶ] is divided into four phases - [City Ruins], [Fungal Wasteland], [Infested Crater], and [Delirious Visions].

1.[City Ruins] is the Registration Phase for COA Ⅶ. This phase begins on January 4, 2024, and lasts until January 22, 2024, during which the Team Captains can register their teams for free, and their team members will be eligible to participate in COAⅦ .

2.[Fungal Wasteland] is the Preliminary Phase for COA Ⅶ. This phase begins on January 11th, 2024(UTC+8) and lasts until January 24th, 2024(UTC+8) , during which registered teams will compete with others to obtain bountiful event-exclusive rewards. Teams competing in [Fungal Wasteland] phase will obtain points, and the top 100 teams(top 50 for certain divisions) with the most points will advance to [Infested Crater] phase.

3. [Infested Crater] is the Playoff Phase for COA Ⅶ. This phase will take place from January 25, 2024(UTC+8) to February 1, 2024 (UTC+8)(January 25 - February 2, 2024 for NA-EU server). The top 100 teams(top 50 for certain divisions) from [Fungal Wasteland] will compete for points in [Infested Crater]. The top 8 teams(Top 5 in the Japan Division) with the most points will be invited to the COA Ⅶ Online Qualifier. If any teams among the top 8 have already qualified for the COA Ⅶ Qualifier/Global Finals, the next team in line will be invited.

4.[Delirious Visions] is the Rankings Announcement Phase for COA Ⅶ. This phase will commence on February 1, 2024(UTC+8) (on February 2, 2024 for NA-EU server). The top 8 divisional teams(Top 5 in the Japan Division) from [Infested Crater] will be announced and invited to the upcoming COA Ⅶ Online Qualifier.

2 City Ruins

1.[City Ruins] is the Registration Phase for COA Ⅶ. This phase begins on January 4, 2024, and lasts until January 11, 2024, during which the Team Captains can register their teams for free, and their team members will be eligible to participate in COAⅦ.

2.Each team must register as a single unit. Only after registering can team members could participate the event.

3.Once registered, teams cannot be disbanded during the event.

4. If a team member leaves their registered teams, they cannot participate the event temporarily. If this member wishes to continue to the event, they can choose to create/join a new team or join a registered team directly.

*For players who are not from Chinese Mainland division, they need to join or create a team during registration, and the team captain will select one of the following divisions according to the division and the server where the team is based: Chinese HK-MO-TW Division, Japan Division, South Korea Division, Southeast Asia Division, NA-EU Division. Once a division is picked, it cannot be altered.

*Each team is limited to 1 to 7 players, but Team Points will be determined by the sum of the 5 team members'. This formula is to ensure the highest Team Points possible.(exact rules are determined in-game).

*Teams must have a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 1 player who is not a permanent resident of the division to be considered for a place in the Online Qualifiers and the Global Finals. All teams can view the division in which they are registered on the Team Page.

*Note: Team members will not be able to quit, disband, or join a team for a period of time after the event starts, so please pay attention to the event registration time and the time allowed for team members to change (please check more details in- game).

3 Fungal Wasteland

[Fungal Wasteland] is the Preliminary Phase for COA Ⅶ. After the maintenance on January 11, 2024 to January 24, 2024, all players can participate in the Festival Battle Tasks to get rich exclusive rewards, and join teams to get richer rewards.At the same time, players can participate in the "Fungal Wasteland" battles to obtain the "Festival Team Points". The top 100 in Chinese Mainland Dividion (top 50 for Japan, South Korea, Chinese HK-MO-TW, Southeast Asia, and NA-EU Divisions) team members will be qualified to compete in the next phase.

Festival Event for All

1.Individual battle tasks. The official beginning of the festival phase, participate in any Quick Match, Rank, Duo Hunter to unlock Festival Individual Battles

2. Team battle tasks. Registered team members can accumulate Team Abyss Battles through Abyss Quick Matches and Abyss Ranked Matches

Players can obtain "Abyssal Whisper" Token after completing the Festival tasks, which can be used for exploring in Wasteland Expedition and obtaining a lot of rewards. The Abyssal Whisper rewards include: Abyss A Costume, Abyss B Costume, Abyss Pet, Abyss Treasures and other great rewards.

Abyss Team Battles

1. During the Fungal Wasteland Phase, registered team members can accumulate Team Abyss Battles through Abyss Quick Matches and Abyss Ranked Matches

2.When Team Abyss Battles reach a specific tier, all Team members will receive the "Abyssal Whisper" Token and COA Ⅶ Team Badges.

3. Players shall be in a team for more than 12 hours and have accumulated 10 Individual Abyss Battles to obtain Team Abyss Battle rewards.

How to Obtain Team Points?

1. During the Fungal Wasteland Phase, team members can accumulate the Whisperer in the Show Points through Abyss Quick Matches and Abyss Ranked Matches.

2. Abyss Quick Matches are available from 12:00 to 22:00, and Abyss Ranked Matches are Available from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00 as narmal.

3. There is a daily limit and a total limit for Points obtainable during the event. The daily limit for Survivors and Hunters is 6 matches each, and the total limit for Survivors and Hunters is 60 matches each.

4. Using Survivors will earn you Survivor Points, and using Hunters will earn you Hunter Points.

5. Tier, Battle Results, Deduction Points, and whether the match is a Ranked Match will affect the final Points the player earns.

6. Team Points = (The highest team member's "Hunter Points") x2 + (the sum of the four remaining members' the highest "Survivor Points") (This formula is to ensure the highest Team Points possible.)

About The Team Points

1.The "Team Points" are used to evaluate the team's performance in the [Fungal Wasteland] Phase. The top 100 in Chinese Mainland Dividion (top 50 for Japan, South Korea, Chinese HK-MO-TW, Southeast Asia, and NA-EU Divisions) team, members will get rewards and continue to compete.

2. When a team member is removed from the team by the Team Captain, the "Team Points" will no longer reflect the member's contribution. However, the member's individual "Survivor Points" and "Hunter Points" will not be affected.

3.When a team member withdraws from the team voluntarily, the member's "Survivor Points" and "Hunter Points" will be halved. However, "Team Points" will not be affected unless another team member has contributed more points than the member who withdrew from the team.

4 Infested Crater

[Infested Crater]is the Playoff Phase for COA Ⅶ. From January 25, 2024 to February 1, 2024 (January 24, 2024 - February 2, 2024 for NA-EU server) (UTC+8), all players can continue to participate in the Festival tasks to obtain the "Abyssal Whisper" Token. The top 100 in Chinese Mainland Dividion (top 50 for Japan, South Korea, Chinese HK-MO-TW, Southeast Asia, and NA-EU Divisions) team members will be able to participate in the Festival battles to obtain "Infested Crater Points", and the top 8 teams in each division(top 5 for Japan Division) will obtain more rewards and be eligible to participate in the online Qualifiers.

How to Obtain Infested Crater Points?

1.During the Infested Crater phase, the top 100(top 50 for Japan, South Korea, Chinese HK-MO-TW, Southeast Asia, and NA-EU Divisions) teams from the Fungal Wasteland phase will enter Ranked Matches through a special entrance in the evening to obtain the Infested Crater Points.The opening hours are from 19:00 to 21:00(utc+8), between January 25, 2024, and February 1, 2024(utc+8)(January 24, 2024, and February 2, 2024 for NA-EU server)

2.There is a daily limit and a total limit for Points obtainable during the Infested Crater. The daily limit for Survivors and Hunters is 5 matches each, and the total limit for Survivors and Hunters is 20 matches each during the Infested Crater.

3.Using Survivors in matches will earn you "Survivor Points," while using Hunters will earn you "Hunter Points".

4.Tier, Battle Results, Deduction Points, and whether the match is a Ranked Match will affect the final Points the player earns.

5.Team Points = (The highest team member's "Hunter Points") x2 + (the sum of the four remaining members' highest "Survivor Points") (This formula is to ensure the highest Team Points possible.)

About The Infested Crater Points

1."The Infested Crater Points" indicates a team's ranking. Team members will receive rewards corresponding to their team's final ranking

2.Join the Infested Crater Team Points Ranking to show the rankings of the teams in each division.

Cave of Infested Crater Rewards

-Members of the Team that ranks 1st in Infested Crater will acquire: 2000 Fragments

-Members of the Team that ranks 2nd in Infested Crater will acquire: 1500 Fragments

-Members of the Team that ranks 3rd in Infested Crater will acquire: 1200 Fragments

-Members of the Teams that rank 4th - 8th in Infested Crater will acquire: 800 Fragments

-Members of the Teams that rank 9th - 16th in Infested Crater will acquire: 600 Fragments

-Members of the Teams that rank 17th - 50th in Infested Crater will acquire: 500 Fragments

-Members of the Teams that rank 51st - 100th in Infested Crater will acquire: 400 Fragments

Teams participating in the [Delirious Visions] Online Qualifiers and Offline Finals will obtain the [Call of the Abyss Ⅶ theme Portrait Frame].

5 Delirious Visions

[Delirious Visions] is the Rankings Announcement Phase for COA Ⅶ. The top 8 teams in each division(top 5 for Japan Division) which are not directly invited will be invited to participate in the subsequent Online Qualifiers. Teams participating in the online Qualifiers and Offline Finals of [Delirious Visions]] will be awarded with [Call of the Abyss Ⅶ theme Portrait Frame].

Qualifiers Information by Division

1.[COA Ⅶ Global Finals] 20 Teams will be in participation—9 Teams from Chinese Mainland Division, 5 Teams from Japan Division, 2 Teams from Southeast Asia Division, 2 Teams from NA-EU Division, 1 Teams from Chinese HK-MO-TW Division, 1 Teams from South Korea Division. The final ranking of the 20 Teams will be determined in the Grand Finals held in May 2024.

2. [Chinese Mainland Division] 2 Teams will earn direct access to COA Ⅶ Global Finals: The champions of the 2023 IVL Autumn Event and the team with the most season points (from the remaining Teams). The remaining 8 IVL teams and the top 8 advanced teams will participate in the Chinese Mainland Online Qualifiers, and will determine the remaining 7 places for the COA Ⅶ Global Finals

3. [Japan Division] 2 Teams will earn direct access to COA Ⅶ Global Finals: The champions of the 2023 Autumn IJL and the team with the most season points (from the remaining Teams). The remaining 5 IJL teams and the top 5 advanced teams will participate in the Japan Online Qualifiers, and will determine the remaining 3 places for the COA Ⅶ Global Finals.

4. [Southeast Asia Division] The champion team from 2023 IVC-Southeast Asia will earn direct access to COA Ⅶ Global Finals. The online qualifiers for Southeast Asia will determine the last remaining finalist from the division.

5.[NA-EU, South Korea, and Chinese HK-MO-TW Division] All COA Ⅶ finalist teams from these division will be determined by Divisional Online Qualifiers, NA-EU will determine 2 teams from the division.

6.[Postponement Rules] After the end of the Qualifiers in each division, tournament officials will contact the teams according to the rankings to confirm whether or not they wish to participate in the tournament. If a team refuses to participate or cannot do so, the next team in line will be contacted.

7.[Cross-Division Registration Penalties] After the end of the qualifiers in each division, tournament officials will contact each of teamsand collect information on their team members according to the rankings. If more than 1 member is not legal citizen or holder of valid permanent residency in their registered division, that team will forfeit the right to advance. Furthermore, the team's members will not be able to receive the exclusive "Delirious Visions”.
